My Water Broke

This is an outdoor relay race which would also be very suitable for a Co-ed party. Before the shower, pre-fill balloons with water. Have enough balloons for each guest and a few extra. Divide the players into two teams. Guests must race to a laundry basket while holding the water balloon between their knees. When they get to the basket, they must then deposit the water balloon into the basket, without breaking the balloon. The guest must then run back and tag the next player on their team.

If they should break their balloon, they get one more chance with another balloon (no more than two chances per guest). The first team to finish and get the most balloons into the laundry

Couples Baby Showers (also referred to as Couples Baby Showers) are becoming more popular. The main reason is that more men are actively involved in their partner’s pregnancy these days.

Why not choose a Theme centered around his / or her favorite Sport or Sports team? If both Mom and Dad love a particular sport such as baseball, football or auto racing, make this your Theme.

Make sure that the invitations reflect a Couples Baby Shower. Try to keep the number of men to women as even as possible. Make sure there are more than two men there, even if you have to grab your DAD!

Afro-Centric Baby Shower Theme Party

Every child is special and as the African saying goes……………”Honor the child and it will honor you”. Having a Baby Shower with an Afro-Centric or African American Theme is the perfect way to honor her ancestry and rejoice at the coming of a new life.

The Party should reflect or be influenced by the culture and history. African celebrations are marked by food, dance and music and should be part of your Party.

African women have traditionally gathered to pray for the baby and pass their wisdom on to the new mother, offering advice, guidance and prayers.

There is a very wide variety of ideas and beliefs among the African people. This stands to reason when you consider that there are between 2500 and 3000 languages spoken on the African continent, with as many as 8000 dialects.
